SPICY BUFFALO CAULIFLOWER FLORETS

Ingredients
· 1 medium head of cauliflower
· 3 tbsp of corn starch
· 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
· 2 tbsp siracha sauce
· 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
· 1 tbsp cooking oil
· 1 tbsp plant milk
Prepping cauliflower
· Cut the cauliflower into medium sized florets
· In a bowl combine corn starch, Cajun seasoning, 1tbsp of siracha sauce and plant milk.
· Whisk ingredients to make a batter.
· Toss the cauliflower florets, ensuring that they are covered in the batter.
· Pour the nutritional yeast over the coated florets, tossing to combine
Air-frying the florets (can also bake)
· Spray the air-fryer basket with a non-stick cooking spray
· Add the florets on the air-fryer, ensuring spacing in between the florets
· Air-fry for 8 minutes (until the batter hardens)
Pan-frying the florets
· Remove the florets from the air-fryer
· Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan
· Add the florets to the heated oil and fry until golden brown
Saucing the florets
· In a bowl, pour the remaining siracha sauce and add the fried florets.
· Toss the florets ensuring well coated with the sauce
Serving suggestion
· Serve with a vegan mayo dip( any creamy dip will do)
· Garnish with chives (any green herb for a pop of colour)
